Winchester & Western Sales Representative Sample Hard Brief Case style.

Leatherette covered case with 2 trays – one for Winchester samples & one for Western samples. Blue velvet lining & covers with embroidered company names. Lower tray, containing the Western samples, slides out of case. A total of 76-pieces, with content diagrams and lists. Includes window & cutaway shotshells and cutaway metallic cartridges & samples of bullets. Center fire headstamps are: SUPER SPEED & WRA or SUPER-X & WESTERN. Rimfire headstamps are: “H”, the Western diamond, & SUPER over X.
Due to the WRA headstamp and the limited Silvertip samples I would place this about 1940-1941.

NOTE THIS: Case was complete but for two... it was missing a 38 AUTO (WRA) and .22 LEADER (H). Both have been replaced with era appropriate LIVE cartridges.
Condition: Exterior Good++ to Very Good with normal scuffs expected for genuine use. Separations at lower end/bottom joints, has been moderately stabilized. Interior is Excellent.
